Supporting autistic children and people with mental disabilities by creating sustainable facilities and education curricula.
The objective of Lebenshilfe is the well-being of people with mental disability and their families. It is committed to ensuring that disabled people can live as normally and independently as possible from childhood to a high age and that they are given the aids and support they need to do so.
Why we chose to help Lebenshilfe?
This project came about as a result of employees in SK Zuplich Papier identifying a local project that required support in Germany and asked Smurfit Kappa Foundation to consider it. This project deals with autistic children and people with mental disabilities with the key objectives being to create sustainable facilities and education curricula that support these children. This project has been a huge success.
