Our goal is to end the cycle of poverty and dependence that exists in our communities

The Smurfit Kappa Group Foundation was formed in 2011 when the Board of Smurfit Kappa decided to donate funds over the subsequent years.

The aim of the Foundation is to fund projects in the communities in which we operate, particularly those which are sustainable and focus on helping young and disadvantaged children through health and nutrition, basic care and early education.

Our goal is to end the cycle of poverty and dependence that exists in some of the communities and countries in which we operate, using the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals as a guide.
